Energy 360
Energy 360 was a major fuel poverty programme delivered by Inclusive across Pennine Lancashire. Funded through the Energy Redress Scheme, the project provided free, confidential and culturally appropriate energy advice to people from racially minoritised and disadvantaged communities, helping households reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency and access practical support.

15 staff across the partnership gained Energy Awareness Qualifications.
10 Community Volunteers were recruited and trained to provide energy advice.
The programme helped to distribute 500 Energy Saving Packs and 250 Winter Warmer Packs
These provided practical measures to help households stay warm and use energy more efficiently. Advice was delivered in relevant community languages and in a culturally sensitive way, helping overcome barriers that can prevent communities from accessing mainstream energy support.
An independent evaluation found Energy 360 to be highly relevant to the needs of local communities, with strong overall performance despite the significant disruption caused by COVID-19 and changes in the energy market. The evaluation highlighted the quality of the services delivered, Inclusive North's ability to adapt, and the importance of its relationships with trusted community partners. It also found that the project strengthened partner organisations' capacity to deliver bespoke services and engage with multiple stakeholders.

Energy 360 demonstrated the value of combining specialist knowledge with trusted community relationships to reach households experiencing fuel poverty that can otherwise be underserved by mainstream provision.
