Spring North has launched a new campaign highlighting the often hidden and “unseen” mental health struggles many people experience. The campaign focuses on the fact that while mental health issues are common, a lot of people suffer in silence because of stigma, uncertainty about where to get help, or practical barriers like long waiting times and lack of access to support.
Through its work across Lancashire and South Cumbria, Spring North is aiming to raise awareness of these challenges and encourage more people to open up and seek support earlier. The campaign also stresses the importance of community-based services, showing how local organisations and trusted spaces can make it easier for people to access help in ways that feel safe and familiar.
It builds on Spring North’s wider approach of connecting services together, improving early intervention, and making sure people don’t fall through the gaps between different types of mental health support. The overall message is that mental health struggles are often not visible, but support is available, and no one should have to deal with it alone.
